Accounts are stored on your device, not our servers

When you create a username/password account, or sign in with Google, that account — including your password, profile photo, and (for Google sign-in) the name and photo Google provides — is saved only in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we never receive, see, or store it. Uninstalling the game or clearing your browser data deletes it completely, and it won't sync between devices.

What we do receive on our servers

To support the global leaderboard and achievements, the game sends a small amount of data to our server when you play a scored run:

If you sign in with Google, we never use your real Google name or email as your public display name. You're automatically given a randomly generated street alias (e.g. "GHOST4821") instead, which is what appears on the public leaderboard. You can change it to a nickname of your choosing at any time from your profile.

Who we share it with

The leaderboard data above is hosted on Cloudflare. If you sign in with Google, Google acts as its own data controller for that authentication step. We don't use advertising networks or third-party analytics.

How long we keep it

Leaderboard entries are kept indefinitely as part of the public high-score history, unless you ask us to remove yours. Local account data is entirely under your control — clearing it is up to you, not us.

Your rights

You can ask us to remove a leaderboard entry, or ask any question about this policy, at jamie@narco-sys.com. If you're in the UK/EU, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
